Welcome to Mike’s Pine Box LLC. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. I, Mike, have always lived my life in service to others and it is a blessing to share my gifts and talents with you. I am a self-taught wood worker and I have spent many years creating items for family and friends. Thus, I have decided to turn this hobby into a business. 

My shop is located in my home in Charles City, Iowa, so most of the items I create are by request, however you can find items for immediate purchase on the ‘Shop Store’ page of this website. Pictures of some of the items I have crafted in the past are located on the ‘Portfolio’ page of this website. If you see something you like, let me know and I can build it for you. 

I turn bowls and plates and build cabinets, tables, shelves, headboards, frames, shadow boxes, urns, caskets, animal cages and play places, and so much more. One of my missions is to provide affordable caskets for your loved ones. Caskets do take time to build and to put all the finishing touches on, so please allow at least 5 days from order to completion. Otherwise, I may have one or two on hand at times, so check that out.

Items in the ‘Shop Store’ have a description of the item and a price; add shipping and taxes. Prices will vary on all other orders based on wood choice, finish, size, and complexity of the item.

Casket delivery is free within a 20 mile radius of Charles City, Iowa. Anything over 20 miles will be $1.50 per mile.

Every once-in-awhile my wife, Kris, may add something to the ‘Shop Store’. She enjoys crafts, painting, sign making and more. If you see something, but would like it tweaked a bit, consider asking her.
